'Simbhaoli Power, the power business SPV of Simbhaoli Sugars is planning to expand its power generation capacity to 85 MW from 52 MW. As part of the plan, the company will upgrade its turbines to use biomass as an alternative fuel, along with bagasse. As of January 2012, the company is in talks with lenders to finalise terms for getting funds for the project.
