Narmada Valley Development Authority is setting up 4.5 MW Canal Head Power House on Left Bank Canal of Omkareshwar project in Khandwa district of Madhya Pradesh. As of September 2014, the company has invited bids from contractors to carry out engineering, procurement, construction of the power house for the power project.
