Sunvik Steels is expanding its steel plant at Jodievarahalli village in Tumkur district in Karnataka by installation of induction furnace.The proposed expansion will be taken up in the existing plant premises of 49.5 acres and no additional land envisaged for the proposed expansion project and the raw materials required for this are sponge iron, pig iron/cast iron and steel scraps. As of September 2014, environment clearance for the project is underway.
