KSCC is constructing a road from Chakkaraparambu to Seaport-Airport Road at kochin in Kerala. The proposed road will pass through Vennala and Palachuvadu before reaching Seaport-Airport Road. The access-controlled road will have a 30-metre width for 1.5 km from Chakkaraparambu up to Vennala-Eroor Road, while the rest of the alignment will have 45-metre width since most of the area is now paddy fields. As of September 2014, pre project activities are underway.
