RVNL is doubling the railway track between Thanjavur-Ponmalai track in Tiruchchirappalli division, in Tamil Nadu. The proposed project involves construction of roadbed, bridges, supply of ballast, installation of track, general electrification, modification of OHE, signalling and telecommunication works for the track. As of September 2014, bids have been invited for execution.
