Mahi Formaline is planning to take up a synthetic resin manufacturing plant at Garmala, Kheda in Gujarat. The proposed plant will manufacture Formaldehyde (37%)(6,000 TPM), Hexamine (300 TPM), Phenol formaldehyde resin (500 TPM), Urea formaldehyde resin (liquid) (588 TPM), Urea formaldehyde resin (powder) (500 TPM), Melamine formaldehyde resin (500 TPM).and Effluent (50 KLD). As of September 2014, land required for the plant is acquired and the company is waiting for the environmental clearance for the plant.
