Telangana State Power Generation Corporation is setting up a coal handling plant for the Kakatiya thermal power project Stage-I & II at Warangal district in Telangana. As of September 2014, the 500 MW Stage-I of the thermal power project is already completed, while the 600 MW Stage-II is presently under execution and bids has been invited for the same.
