Assam Gas Company and Assam Power Generation Corporation are jointly planning to set up a new 50 MW gas based power plant at Titabor, Jorhat in Assam. The proposed plant will utilise associated gas that generally goes waste in the state's oil fields. As of October 2014, project is in the planning stage.
