Electrosteel Steels has reported progress on its proposed integrated steel plant project at Bokaro in Jharkhand. The plant is being built using Chinese technology. The plant and machinery is supplied by China First Metallurgical Construction Corporation Ltd. As of January 2013, the company is exploring options to raise nearly $250 million in the overseas market to complete the project.
