Parth Ispat (India) is setting up a project for re-commissioning of the existing micro blast furnace at Amaghata, Gobindpur, Dhanbad in Jharkhand. The micro blast furnace will produce liquid iron, which can be used to cast into foundry grade pig iron, this cast pig iron can be used in induction furnace for converting it into steel for casting of cast iron insert for railway track. As of october 2014, environmental clearance for the proposed project is underway.
