National Hydroelectric Power Corporation is setting up a solar crystalline photovoltaic grid connected power plant in Uttar Pradesh. The project will also include development of 132kV power evacuation equipments in the same plant. As of November 2014, NHPC has invited the bids on behalf of Bundelkhand Saur Urja Company, A Joint Venture of NHPC & Uttar Pradesh New and Renewable Energy Development Agency, on EPC basis.
