Aeon Renewable Energy belonging to The Madurai Appu Restaurant Group is planning to set up solar projects in TN with an aggregate capacity of 25 MW. The project involves development of 5 Mw from Pudukottai in first phase, 10 Mw in Virudhunagar in second phase and complete 5 Mw each in both the locations in the third phase. As of January 2013, the project is in the planning stage.
