National Highway Authority of India is taking up a project for four laning of Lucknow-Sultanpur section of NH - 56 under NHDP Phase-IV. The project is estimated to Rs. 13250.9 Million, which includes the cost of land acquisition, resettlement and rehabilitation and other pre-construction activities involved in the project. As of December 2014, Government has approved the execution of highway project.
