Urtan North Mining Company, a JV of Jindal Steel & Power and Monnet Ispat & Energy, is setting up a pit head coal washery at Baskhala, Baskhali, Thodha & Mauhari Villages of Anuppur. As of December 2014, land has acquired for the project, Equipment supplier is yet to be appointed and company is awaiting environmental clearance for the project.
