National Highways Authority of India is planning to take up two laning with paved shoulder of Biharsharif-Barbigha-Mokama section of NH-82. The project is estimated to cost Rs.2300.6 million. As of December 2014, bids have been invited for executing the project. The project will be implemented in EPC mode in the state of Bihar.
