Kalyani Carpenter Special Steels is taking up a modernization cum expansion programme at its Mundhwa, Pune unit. The project involves increasing the processing capacity of steel from, 150000 MTPA to 204000 MTPA. As of December 2014, environmental clearance for the project is underway.
