NMDC is planning to lay a 139 km slurry pipeline at Nagarnar steel plant in Chhattisgarh. The pipeline will carry iron ore from Bailadila mines to its proposed three million tonne per annum steel plant at Nagarnar. As of December 2014, civil work is expected to start after the necessary clearances and the project is likely to be completed before December 2016.
