Ultratech Cement is taking up a project for the expansion of its coal-based CPP and a new WHR-based CPP at Hirmi, Baloda Bazar. From the proposed plant no wastewater would be generated as dry process technology would be used. As of December 2014, company is awaiting environmental clearance for the project and further details of the project are yet to be finalized.
