Himachal Sorang Power , a joint venture of NCC Infra and IL&FS.has reported progress on its upcoming 100 MW Sorang Power Project in Himachal Pradesh. . It is a 100 MW run-of river hydroelectric project proposed in the Kinnaur District in the state of Himachal Pradesh, India and will utilise the waters of the Sorang Khad. As of February 2013, construction of the Sorang hydroelectric project is 90 per cent complete and the plant is expected to begin operations in 2013.
