VSP Udyog is taking up a project for the expansion of its billets manufacturing unit at Durgapur, Bardhaman. The produced billets will be used as a raw material for making TMT bars in the same location. The project involves the installation of 1x12 Ton induction furnace. As of December 2014, civil work has completed, machinery erection is in progress an the company is awaiting environmental clearance for the unit.
