Jaiprakash Associates is setting up a Limestone mine at Sonra, Huzur. For the proposed project method of mining will be opencast mechanized, the process involves drilling and blasting, loading and transportation of the excavated material and the working depth of the mine is 30-37 m. As of January 2015, environmental clearance is underway.
