Public Works, Ports & Inland Water Transport Department of Karnataka is taking up a project for the strengthening and widening of Vijayapura-Hubli section on NH-218, with paved shoulder in Karnataka. As of January 2015, department has invited bids for the project, which is valued at Rs. 874.7 Million and have a completion period of 24 months and maintenance period of 48 months.
