Karnataka Power Corporation is setting up a Gas Turbine-based combined cycle power plant at Yelahanka. As of January 2015, company has awarded the gas-based Utility Power Project contract to BHEL on EPC basis and the Rs.12020 Million valued contract involves the supplying, constructing, erecting, testing and commisioning of the EPC Package comprising an advanced-class Gas Turbine-based CCPP.
