Kota Urban Improvement Trust is planning to develop the 14.2 km bypass road in Kota. The project comprises the development of a bypass which connect KotaSawai Madhopur Highway to the NH 76 through a road between Jhalipura area and Gaamach area in the district. As of January 2015, Union Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has given approval for the proposed bypass project.
