Orange Renewable Power is setting up a wind power project at Khanapur. For the proposed project company has ordered 50 units G97-2.0 MW wind turbines from Gamesa Wind Turbines. The project will take place in 2 phases, first phase of the same is scheduled to be completed in March 2015 and the second phase in June 2015. As of January 2015, project is under implementation.
