Clariant Chemicals India is taking up an expansion project at its blue pigment & chloranil manufacturing unit Kudikadu, Cuddalore. The project involves the capacity expansion of blue pigment & intermediates along with the development of a 110 KLD sewage treatment plant. For the proposed project ABC Techno Labs India is the environmental consultant. As of January 2015, company is awaiting environmental clearance.
