Power Transmission Corporation Of Uttarakhand is setting up a project for the construction of transmission line between Srinagar-Simli, in Chamoli & Pauri Garhwal districts. For the proposed project Ranjit Singh & Company is the EPC contractor and REC is the funding agency. As of January 2015, work is in progress
