Steel Authority of India is taking up an expansion project at its Collieries Division, Jitpur Colliery in Dhanbad. The project involves the enhancement of coal production capacity by 0.6 MTPA Nominal/ 0.7 MTPA Peak. As of February 2015, company has approached MoEF for clearances.
