Power Distribution Department of RSP, Steel Authority of India, is setting up a 1 MW solar PV power plant at its Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP), Orissa. In the plant electric power will be generated from 3465 solar photovoltaic panels, which are already installed in the plant premises. Rays Power Infra is the contractor and Canyon Consultancy is the consultant for the project. As of February 2015, project is under implementation.
