Gallantt Metal is planning to take up an expansion project at its Samakhiyali steel plant, Kutch. The project involves the augmentation of Sponge Iron, Steel Billets, TMT and power plant in the existing unit and the produced Sponge iron will be used as raw material for production of billets whereas billets will be used as raw material for production of TMT bars. As of February 2015, company has approached state pollution board for clearances.
