Kalai Power, a subsidiary of Reliance Power, is planning to take up the Kalai II HEP project at Anjaw. The project involves the construction of a concrete gravity dam, upstream & downstream coffer dam, diversion tunnel, intake tunnel, pressure shafts, underground powerhouse complex, surge chamber and tail race tunnel etc. WAPCOS Ltd is the environmental consultant for the project. As of February 2015, company is awaiting environmental clearances and work on the project will commence after receipt of environmental clearance.
