Karam Chand Thapar & Bros (Coal Sales) is setting up a 24 MW wind power project at Kalyandurg, Anantapur in AP. The project cost is estimated to Rs. 1650 Million, of which around Rs 1470 Million will be funded through bank loan and the remaining Rs 180 Million from internal accruals. As of March 2015, project is in the planning stage and Gamesa Wind Turbines is the machinery supplier for the project.
