Allied Recycling is setting up an expansion project at its steel plant in Budhewal, Ludhiana. The project involves the augmentation of Steel Ingot/ billets, Steel Wire Rods capacity along with the installation of two Induction furnaces of capacities 6 TPH each. For the project Shivalik Solid Waste Management Limited and Envirotech (India) are the EIA-EMP consultant. As of March 2015, company has approached MoEF for clearances.
