Amma Lines, a Meka group company, is setting up a 1000 MW coal based thermal power project at East Midnapore, West Bengal. For the proposed power project 150000 TPA coal will be procured and the power generated will be used for company's deep sea water port to come up at Rasulpur. As of March 2015, company is awaiting environmental clearance and approval from Govt. for the project.
