Bhaskar Steel & Ferro Alloy is setting up a modernisation cum expansion project at its existing integrated steel plant, Badtumkela, Sundergarh. The project will be implemented in two phases, each phase involves the setting up of facilities like DRI kiln (2,88,000 TPA), Pelletization (6,00,000 TPA), IO Beneficiation (1,2,00,000 TPA ) etc which uses Iron Ore Fines, Coal, Lime stone/Dolomite ete as raw materials. As of March 2015, company has approached MoEF for clearances.
