Power Grid Corporation of India is constructing a transmission line from Wardha to Hyderabad. The project is proposed to facilitate import of power from Generation Hub in Western Region to Southern region and to increase intra-regional Power Transformation capacity. As of March 2015, company has applied for forest clearance.
