Kashvi Power & Steel is planning to set up a steel plant project at Badapokhari, Cuttack. The project involves the installation of a DRI plant (through tunnel kilns), Producer Gas Plant, MS ingot plant with induction furnace and a TMT bar plant in the unit. The proposed project will take place in a phased manner and Machinery for the same will be procured both from China and locally, Visiontek Consultancy Services is the environmental consultant. As of March 2015, company is awaiting environmental clearance and financial closure is yet to be achieved.
