Meenakshi Arunachal Power is developing the Sippi hydro electric power project at Upper Siang. The project involves the generation of 96 MW (3 x 32)hydro electric power from the unit, which will utilize water from the Ringong River. As of March 2015, company has approached MoEf for clearance.
