MRF Tyres is setting up a project for expanding its two manufacturing units in Tamil Nadu. The project involves the capacity expansion at its Arakonam and Perambalur units and company has estimated the project cost to Rs. 45000 million, which will be funded through internal accruals . As of March 2015, pre project activities are underway and company is planning to sign a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Tamil Nadu government soon.
