Steel Crackers is setting up a TMT bars manufacturing project at its existing area, Dhobapukur, Hooghly. The project involves the installation of a 1x4 Tonne induction furnace along with the existing 2x5 tonne induction furnaces producing 42000 TPA of billet/ingot & 2000 TPA re-rolled bars. As of March 2015, company is awaiting clearance from state pollution control board and Envirotech East is the environmental consultant.
