'Shree Ram Electrocast is planning to expand the capacity of its pig iron plant in Bellary district of Karnataka. The project involves increasing the capacity of pig iron from 1,20,000 TPA to 2,00,000 TPA, establishment of Coke Oven Plant of capacity 1,60,000 TPA, Captive Power Plant of capacity 30 MW, expansion of Ductile Iron Pipe Plant from 1,20,000 TPA to 2,00,000 TPA Sinter Plant - 3,00,000 TPA and setting up a Cement grinding plant of capacity 1,00,000 TPA. As of March 2013, environment clearance for the project is underway.
