JK Lakshmi Cement is setting up a cement grinding unit with a capacity of 1.5 million tpa in Surat district of Gujarat. The project also involves an aerated autoclaved concrete blocks unit with a capacity of 1,000 cubic mtrs per day and 10 MW coal / pet-coke based captive power unit. As of April 2013, the project is in the planning stage.
