'Mahanadi Basin Power, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Mahanadi Coalfields is setting up 2x800 MW power plant at the mouth of a coal field in the Mahanadi basin in Orissa. As of March 2013, the project is awaiting approval from the boiard in the next couple of months.
