'Bhagwati Sponge is planning to take up Expansion of existing Sponge Iron Plant and CPP by installation of 2 x 9 MVA Submerged Arc Furnaces at Village Ikra, Jamuria, Jamuria Industrial Estate in Burdwan district of West Bengal. As of March 2013, environment clearance for the project is underway.
