Calcutta Electric Supply Corporation, CESE, the flagship company of the RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group, is setting up a 1320 MW coal based super critical thermal power plant at Balagarh, West Bengal. The project will be executed in two phases of 660 MW each. As of April 2015, company has applied for environmental clearances.
