Hindustan Construction Company is taking up a project for four laning of Jamugurihat - Biswanath Chariali highway section on NH52, Assam. The project is part of the Special Accelerated Road Development Programme for North Eastern Region and includes rehabilitation, upgradation and augmentation of the existing carriageway, major and minor bridges, culverts, road intersections and so on. As of April 2015, HCC has received the contract from MoRTH for implementing the project at a cost of Rs. 3920 Million.
