Public Works Roads Directorate is setting up a road widening project on the Phuentsholing- Jaigaon- Hasimara- Dhupguri- Changrabandha- Burimari road along with Pasakha access road, which is a part of Asian Highway - 48 (AH-48). The cost required for the project will be funded through Asian Development Bank (ADB). The proposed project will start at Changrabandha, which is the India- Bangladesh border. As of April 2015, environmental clearance is underway.
