Sew Mago Chu Power Corporation is setting up a hydro electric power project on Mago Chu river, Tawang in Arunachal Pradesh. The project proposing company is a SPV formed between SEW Energy and Government of Arunachal Pradesh for the development of this 96 MW HEP project. SMEC India is the DPR consultant and the contractor and machinery supplier are yet to be finalised. As of April 2015, DPR has prepared and financial closure is underway.
