Gujarat Industries Power Company is setting up an expansion project at its Vastan open cast limestone mine, Surat. The project involves the augmentation of limestone mining capacity from 0.25 MTPA to 0.425 MTPA, Udaipur Mintech PVT Ltd is the consultanat. As of April 2015, company is awaiting environmental clearance for the project.
