National Highway Authority of India is setting up a rehabilitation and upgradation project on Birmitrapur-Barkote section of NH-23, Orissa. The project involves the two / four laning of the highway section. As of April 2015, NHAI has invited bids and the project is to be implemented under NHDP Phase-IV on EPC mode.
